The terms for using KeepNest
What we provide, what we cannot promise, and what we expect from you.
Digital subscription service
These Terms cover the KeepNest browser extension and related online services. KeepNest provides digital services and does not sell physical goods.
1. Agreement
By installing or using KeepNest, you agree to these Terms. KeepNest is a digital browser extension and online service.
2. What the product does
KeepNest collects pages you choose or that match your topics, stores them in your browser, optionally processes them with AI, and optionally syncs them to a local Obsidian vault. Features may change as the product develops.
3. AI results can be wrong
Summaries, extracted prompts and other AI output are generated automatically and may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. They are aids, not authoritative records. Always check the original post when it matters.
4. Third-party platforms can change
KeepNest works with X today, and support for other platforms is planned but not available. Third-party sites can change their pages or rules at any time, which may affect what KeepNest can collect or how well it works.
5. Your content and your library
You keep whatever rights you already have in the pages you save; we claim none over them. You are responsible for how you use saved material, including respecting the terms of the sites it came from.
6. Back up your own data
Because your library is stored locally, clearing browser data, removing the extension or losing the device can remove it. KeepNest provides an export, and you are responsible for taking backups you care about.
7. Plans and billing
KeepNest Pro is a digital subscription service. The current plans are US$4.99 per month or US$49 per year. Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected interval unless canceled. You may cancel at any time before your next billing date. After cancellation, you can continue using Pro until the end of the current paid billing period, and no further renewal charge will be made. The price shown at checkout is the final subscription price, excluding any taxes that may be required by local law. Pro checkout is not currently enabled, and no subscription payments are being processed.
8. Acceptable use
You must follow applicable laws and the reasonable-use rules of platforms you access with KeepNest. Do not use KeepNest to break the law, scrape at a scale that harms a third-party service, interfere with service security, or process content you have no right to hold.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the extension and the AI service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Collecting and reading your local library keep working when the AI service is down.
10. Changes to the Service or Terms
KeepNest may update its features, pricing, policies, or these Terms from time to time. If a change materially affects your subscription or rights, we will provide reasonable notice through the website, product, or email before the change takes effect where required.

12. Refund Policy
KeepNest provides digital subscription services. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future renewals. Payments that have already been processed are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where otherwise stated by KeepNest. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us and we will review your request.
13. Account Suspension and Termination
KeepNest may suspend or terminate access to the service if a user violates these Terms, abuses the service, attempts to interfere with the operation or security of the service, or uses KeepNest for unlawful activities. Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue before suspension or termination.
